Louis: Louis liked to test the day - the light - staying out as long as possible. Of course, it was still the middle of the night - the dead of night, as it was called. Louis was still getting used to this place - the scents of so many on every corner. He was walking again tonight - it was what he did in a new place to get acquainted with the streets. Jeans, black t-shirt and long black leather coat - his current costume for this town. He turned another corner and strolled - inhaling the night air - seeing who was going to cross his path tonight.

Who: Adrian Clearwater, Faith Lehane, and Adam Ballister
Where: Ear X-tacy
When: Sometime after nightfall
Rating: TBA but most likely PG-13
Status: In progress

Adrian lingered outside the darkened record shop, pacing nervously as he continued to check over his shoulder at every footfall or crackle of dry leaves. Every shadow, every flickering traffic light painted Odin's face in the shadows, squeezing the air from Adrian's lungs painfully. The wolf was toying with him, he knew. Otherwise he would have come for Adrian by now. He was biding his time, scoping out his surroundings, waiting to see when Adrian was most vulnerable. He knew the man's methods; he'd had them brutalized into his brain, etched into his skin during Odin's 'training'. He wondered sometimes if anyone got back there to look deep enough, they could still see his name scratched into his flesh. And the worst was the idea that he might go after someone close to him, someone he loved and cared for deeply, someone like... Michel. Forcing the thoughts from his mind, he leaned against the glass storefront, wondering where Adam was and what he could possibly want.

Who: Adam Balister & Gabe Evans
Where: Ear X-Tacy
When: Friday night after closing
Rating: PC for language
Status: Complete

Gabe threw on some loose jeans and a hoodie, and his SD baseball cap and red converse, then took off at a nice clip until he reached the cafe. He lit a smoke and waited outside, looking somewhat intimidating.

Adam pulled up in front of the coffee shop, The Grind, and parked. He saw a figure standing just to the right of the front entrance and figured from his older appearance that it had to be Gabe. When he emerged from the car, he was able to see better and gave the man a wave since he was certain now it was him. "Hey man" he called out, approaching him with a warm smile.

Rating: PG-13
Status: Complete

It was the sounds of grunts and that distinct noise that tennis shoes made as they slide wildly over wet tile that echoed in the men's room of Club Eclipse. The night spot had become the regular hunting ground for the vampire known as Adam Balister. Too many drunken bodies to devour...too little time.

17 October 2008 @ 01:50 pm
Who: Armand and Bianca
What: After all these years
When: Saturday evening
Rating: TBD
Status: In Progress

Auburn curls gently tickled the cheeks of a cherubic face that was mostly hidden by a dark navy colored hoodie as his heels clicked along the sidewalk in a human gait. His guise as a young college student had been perfected by a pair of distressed Levis, converse allstars and a bookbag that was slung over one shoulder. With his hands tucked in his pockets he blended in with the people on the street. His hips swayed and his head bobbed to the beat of The Cure on his i-pod as he passed the towering buildings of glass and gothic architecture. He was enwrapped in the music, feeling the swarm of each note tickle his senses like the vibrating buzz of insect wings.

Armand didn’t need to choose his victims anymore, with his beauty and guile he would simply strike a glance or sing to the hearts of the weary with the use of the mind gift and they would come into his arms.
With age the thirst and need for blood diminished but the want of human contact, to taste, to touch to breathe inside was insatiable. Although he wasn’t expecting to dine tonight, no, he was searching. Searching for something he'd thought to have caught a glimpse of just a few nights ago. Golden hair spun with pearls and that signature fragrance, hadn't she given it up? It spiked his memory with fragmented images. Could she really be in this town, alive, well?

"Care to put our emotional stability on the line in exchange for a chance at happiness?"

This was sneaky she thought frowning to herself. Inappropriate, rude, just plain downright bad manners! Waiting for Armand to leave his home in order to get a chance to talk to Ashton without Armand’s carefully trained eye didn’t sit right in her stomach. She thought of last night over again, she’d been so thrilled to see him, to embrace him, to thank him…. But there had been something more there; it had been there, had she not noticed it? Of course she had. Stop freighting she thought as she turned the handle which unlatched and fell open to her. Stepping inside the front room she sighed breathlessly and removed her coat, hanging it over the back of one of Armand’s chairs she walked very carefully through the room. She wore blue today, a pale pretty color, closer to crystal looking, translucent almost. It fell to her knees and her slender porcelain legs served as two parallel trails leading down to a matching set of heels. She wore her hair down and her carefully trimmed nails slid along the side of Armand’s wall as she walked down the hall.

It had been the first time she'd really walked the halls on her own, always being at Armand's side in his home and never truly feeling the need to explore it in a matter of speaking. Rude! She hissed under her breath to scold herself. Why was she doing this again? She wasn't sure she had a correct answer to that. Something had been upsetting him, both of them, one of them, she wasn't sure anymore. One of them or both of them had been upset by something and she just couldn't stand the thought of it. They both had come to mean so much to her in her short time of knowing them. Armand, with his warmth and compassion. Ashton with his warmth and light spirits. Both of them possessing good hearts.

Where was the boy… She’d wanted to see him again after their midnight stroll the other night. However, now, she wished to see him more fervently. “Ashton, love, are you home perchance?” she asked calmly knowing that with his highly acute sense of hearing he would be able to pick up even her smallest whisper, she let her fingers glide smoothly over the surface of the walls  until she came upon his room, nails clicking on the pane of wood before knocking softly. “Darling, are you there?” she asked while her other hand fell around to her back side, out of the way.
